These pages include some of the work I've done over
the last 30 plus years. During that time I've held a variety of jobs for
anywhere from 6 months to 10 years. They've included: graphic designer, woodworker, musician/guitarist, sales,
stockroom, antique restorer, Cantor, law firm courier/supervisor, mailroom/copy
center, silkscreener, picture framer, truck driver, camp counselor, newspaper ad designer and most recently a website
builder. As with my previous occupations, I find the more I learn, the
more I realize what I don't know.
I've also taught
classes to children and/or adults in art, guitar, woodworking,
calligraphy, Tai Chi and Mac & Win computers.
As I enter my second fifty years, I hope to
decide what I want to do for a living some day soon - or not.

A dream message:

It was 2:30 a.m. as I tossed in bed unable to sleep. In
the darkness all I could see were the bright red numbers of my digital
clock. The minutes passed and it was 2:34. I noticed that the numbers were
sequential - 2 3 4. I started thinking about what other numbers could be sequential on a
digital clock. Of course there's 1 2 3 as in 1:23. Then there's 2 3 4, 3 4 5 and
4 5 6. That's as high as you can go because
there's no such time as 5:67. So 4:56 or 6:54 are the highest sequential
numbers that can be displayed in digital time.
As what felt like hours passed, still unable to sleep,
still staring at the red glowing digits of my clock, I began noticing the
structure of the numbers as most digital clocks display them. The number 1
is not a single line but made up of two vertical dashes, one on top of the
other. As my monkey mind wandered I started counting how many dashes made
up each individual number. Here's what I found.
number dashes
Once again 4 5 6 came up. The
highest sequential numbers that can be displayed and the only three
numbers that are made up of the same number of dashes as the number
represents.
yah? so?

Oxymoronics
I can resist everything but temptation.
The important thing is to be sincere. Once you can fake that, the rest
is easy.
I wouldn't be so paranoid if everyone weren't against me.
Thank God I'm an atheist.

cogito, ergo sum
- cogito
I stink therefore I am.
